Hi there, I’m ZAAK, thats short for Zahra Adnan Ali Khan. I’m a female Asian Wedding & Portrait Photographer with artistic flair and a true passion for photography.

I’m originally from Islamabad, Pakistan but now based in Birmingham, West Midlands and cover Asian weddings across the UK in Birmingham, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham & London and also cater for destination weddings abroad. I specialise in Pakistani, Bangladeshi & Arab Weddings but cover weddings of all backgrounds.

I love life, and I love love (as cheesy as that sounds) I’m a real romantic at heart. I love weddings, the bling, the colours, the emotions, the craziness…the food ;) I love every bit. I love that my job lets me capture and preserve fleeting moments like the first time the bride looks at herself in the mirror after adorning herself, to the first time her parents look at her all brideofied (yes its a word), and then the first time she looks happily down the aisle at her husband and he smiles back lovingly and after that everything in between from jokes between friends to sneaky selfies. I document most of the celebration candidly letting things unfold naturally and then mix things up for portraits with some natural ones to some editorial and regal looking images.

When I’m not out shooting a wedding, I’m home (thinking about the next wedding) either editing infront of the telly with Friends in the background or chilling with the husband binge watching a new series on netflix with a cuppa. I Love tea (and biscuits), I could go without food any day as long as I can have tea (and biscuits). I love sparklers, fireworks, balloons, I’m a fairy light fanatic, the more the merrier. I love it when it rains (true Pakistani) but nothing beats golden hour for beautiful pictures.

I get many new clients that come to me after reading the kind words that the couples and families write on my facebook. I’m thrilled to have made many clients happy and hope to continue to do just that for many years to come. You may read a few of the reviews here.
